Page of Pentacles

Interpretation

Page of PentaclesThe Page of Rods is a young person (or someone young at heart) with a great deal of earth (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) in their chart. Visually, this youth seems to be intently studying the pentacle.

Pages indicate youth more than gender. Some decks call them Princess, while others are Pages. This is the quintessential book worm, the young scientist, especially of the earth sciences. This could represent a love of nature and desire to learn more.

Pages also represent messages. You might need to closely study a contract, or you might get a message regarding you health or property. If you do, some extra care is needed. Study things in detail and you’ll do just fine.

Interactions

The Page of Pentacles card adds a “heads up” energy to other cards.

Major Arcana

Emperor: Any cards from the suit of Pentacles, combined with the Emperor, can indicate an offer of a position of authority. This position is likely to involve finance and carry heavy responsibilities.

Minor Arcana

Eight of Rods (Wands, Staves, or Clubs): Any of the Pages in combination with the Eight of Rods (Wands, Staves, or Clubs in other decks) indicate a message could play a key role in events. You can expect its arrival soon..

The Suit — Pentacles, Coins, or Diamonds

The pentacle is a symbol of earth magic. The coin is wealth and wages. The diamond is a symbol of wealth, pulled from the ground and refined by human hands into something enduring and elegant. This suit represents all things related to the earth. It represents the work of our hands. It represents those conspicuous signs of wealth that show us and our neighbors how successful we are, but this is merely material wealth. We can pass this on to the next generation, but it is worthless if we choose to bury it with ourselves.

The Rank — Page (or Princess)

Traditionally, pages represent young people under the age of 21. Energetically, the pages are messengers, students, or catalysts. These cards play more of a supporting role in a spread.
